The following national class associations appointed delegates were present: CZE, EST, GBR, GRE, HUN, ISR, ITA, LAT, PER, POL, SVK,

The meeting was quorate with a total of 15 possible votes in the room.

Elections

The following EC members stood for re-election and were voted in unanimously

The Class Secretary and Executive thanked Yair Suari for his service to the Class and invited those present to get involved in Class activities.

Chairman’s Report

Benoit Treguilly opened the report by referring to the Events conducted by the Class and thanking the organizers for their efforts, although mentioning challenges we faced as the Class. Benoit specifically mentioned the successful European and World Championships.

Financial Statements

Piotr Oleksiak presented and commented on the 2023 financial statements. There were no matters arising.

Submissions Class Committee recommendations

There was one submission from PER

Purpose or Objective

Create a hotbed of techno 293 sailors for the youth categories in Peru and help revive the class in South America

Proposal

Encourage championships in America, provide board and sail resources for championships, establish quotas for emerging countries.

Outcome

The Class shall put in effort to organize events in South America and support those countries during international events.

Class Rule change submissions to World Sailing

There were no submissions

Other matters

5.0 Sail

The 5.0 sail is in production and is available to purchase through the manufacturer.

Equipment

Following his departure from Tahe Michel Quistenic now supports the Class in matters concerning equipment. He noted issues presented by the floor and will come back to Tahe to work on solutions.
