At a recent meeting of IWA Board of Directors, Ezio Ferin, Chairman of the Techno 293 Class, was installed as the 2006 IWA President. As the IWA enters its sixth year a major objective set by the Board is the continued development of ‘junior windsurfing’. [more]Supplementing established racing programmes from Mistral Junior One Design and Formula classes, Techno 293 is seen as the ‘Optimist’ for windsurfing. Ezio commented: “a new class for a new era in the development of competitive windsurfing – I am relishing the challenge of developing this class into a truly worldwide base for our sport.”
