Here are the full results and a report from the event. [more]

“Last weekend we had the first lap of the BC 2009, 2 days with totally different circumstances. On Saturday we had some low wind racing in which the lighter sailors came into the foreground and on Sunday we started with 10 knots and at noon we had already 20 knots so the more heavier sailors came more in front. Now it comes at the end of the day we did two laps of slalom on the technos.Firstly the kids were surprised but already after the first lap they were enthusiastic. It was spectacular, one buoy was about 50 meters from the shore and the start and finish were at the same place.

The others (parents and slalom sailors were surprised about the skills and speed of our youngsters (ie a guy who trains a little group of technos was on the water with his slalom kit and his speed was just a little bit higher than the top techno sailors). Afterwards the sailors asked us to do this more. Sixteen out of forty two competitors entered the slalom and they were super enthusiastic.
