After the long winter break, this weekend marks the return of the official events on our shores. The inaugural race of the 2013 race program [more]consists of the first stage of the Zone III Championship Sardinia, scheduled at the Windsurfing Club Cagliari on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 March. As in previous years, the league has four Sardinian stages, with two new entries, the Yacht Club of St. Quartu Elena and Coluccia, the spot next to Porto Pollo, the usual venue of important national and international events in the freestyle discipline. After Cagliari, the second stage will take place at Quartu, Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 April. The event in Porto Pollo will be on Saturday 23 and Sunday, June 24, while the final stage of Coluccia is scheduled for Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 October.
Entering the water in the Sardinian capital will be the teams from the Windsurfing Club Cagliari, Sardinia Sporting Club of Porto Pollo and LNI Sulcis. However, all zonal races are open, meaning that it is possible for the participation of athletes from other regions.
