You don’t turn 20 every day! Created in 2005, the Techno 293 Class has brought together thousands of young sailors on waters all over the world, with the iconic orange and white board under their feet.
It has been a human adventure and a real springboard to the Olympics for many riders across the globe. This success highlights the importance of the Techno 293 in shaping and developing the sailing talents of tomorrow.
Throughout this year, every gathering will be an opportunity to celebrate these 20 years of sharing, passion, and commitment!
This competition season kicks off today with the European Championships from April 16 to 21 in Italy, with already nearly 300 participants registered, followed by a moment of sharing with the entire windsurfing community at the Défi Wind from May 29 to June 1 in France.
The event calendar will conclude with the World Championships in Wales from August 16 to 23, the highlight of this anniversary year.
