A NSW Junior Race Series that starts this weekend thanks to the support of the NSW Windsurfing Association http://www.windsurfingnsw.com/ and participating sailing clubs.[more]
This series is a greet chance for existing Techno 293 sailors to get some racing in and also a great opportunity for juniors without any windsurf experience to come along and have a go. Three of the events will include junior, Try-Techno-Sailing before the youth racing, the have a go sessions will cater to 1st time Junior windsurfers and juniors that have some windsurfing experience. All equipment for the Try-Techno- Sailing will be provided at no charge to participants.
There will be a cumulative point score through the series with prizes for the top male and female at the end of the season.
Great news for the kids of New South Wales and great news for AUS windsurfing; another step forward in the development of the sport.
