The minutes of the AGM held in Martigues, France, at the end of July, are now published.
The meeting elected a new committee, which included a new member – Gustavo Almenara from Mendoza, Argentina; and the committee immediately co-opted a member to represent Asia – Winfield Zee from Hong Kong.[more]
The committee subsequently re-elected Ezio Ferin as Chairman , and Marc Cardon as Vice Chairman.
The committee will now get to work on actioning the decisions of the AGM.
The technical sub-committee will be strengthened and work begun on under 13 and open division equipment.
A very full programme of championships is already confirmed, or near to being confirmed! Further news is promised by the end of August. But the planned programme includes:
Oceanics – 28th-31st December (2010). Illawara YC, Wollongong, NSW, Australia.
Asians – 12th-16th January. Singapore Open.
South American- 10th-15th January . Peru Beach Club, Buenos Aries. Argentina.
North American- 17th-20th February. Cozumel, Mexico.
African – Algiers, ALG. tbc
Europeans – venue, dates and organizer tbc.
