The Techno293 and Techno293 Plus Class Associations have officially opened the bid process for future international championships. The Bid Document for organisers interested in hosting upcoming events has now been released.

The document outlines the organisational framework, event requirements and cooperation model between the Class, the host organiser and the national federation. It is designed to support organisers in delivering high-quality championships for the global Techno293 community.

Techno293 events typically welcome between 200 and 300 competitors and represent one of the largest international youth windsurfing gatherings in the world. Championships run over a full week of activities, including registration, equipment inspection, practice racing and five days of competition.

Organising a Techno293 championship offers host venues the opportunity to welcome a large sailing community, promote windsurfing development and showcase their sailing conditions to an international audience.

The Bid Document is available to organisers, national sailing federations and clubs interested in hosting future championships.
