Nearly 50 young windsurfers from 11 countries have gathered on Jomtien Beach, Pattaya City, Thailand, for the T293 & T293Plus Asian Championships, taking place from 25–30 November 2025.

The opening day was dedicated to getting everything ready for racing. Competitors completed registration and equipment inspection, followed by a practice race to get familiar with the local conditions. In the evening everyone came together for a welcome dinner, a chance for sailors, coaches and organisers to meet and enjoy the atmosphere before the real competition begins.

From tomorrow the fleets will hit the water for five days of racing, with 15 races scheduled. Pattaya is delivering what it is known for at this time of year: sunny skies, warm temperatures and good winds – ideal conditions for exciting, fair racing in both the Techno293 and Techno293 Plus divisions.

Racing starts tomorrow morning. Daily updates from Jomtien Beach will follow as the championship unfolds.
