The 2025 Techno World Championships delivered a fantastic week of racing in Pwllheli, with 15 races completed across all categories under generally mild conditions. The event closed in true Techno293 style – a festive and friendly prize-giving that crowned the new 2025 World Champions.

The first half of the week saw moderate winds before lighter, more unpredictable breezes took over, reshuffling the rankings and rewarding those who adapted best with strong comebacks. Racing on the technical Pwllheli waters, with its chop and shifting winds, highlighted skill and strategy, while ashore the spirit of camaraderie flourished among competitors from 18 nations.

The modern clubhouse overlooking the course was a favorite among coaches and parents, who could enjoy both the spectacular setting and the racing action via live tracking and video. A memorable championship from start to finish – next stop: Turkey, April 2026, for the next Worlds!
