The International Techno293 Class Association and the iQFOiL Youth and Junior Class Association are delighted to announce a successful meeting between Class Presidents Lorand Utassy (iQFOiL Y&J) and Benoit Treguilly (T293). The meeting took place in the picturesque town of Balatonföldvár, Hungary, following the completion of two major windsurfing events: the iQFOiL Youth & Junior Europeans and the T293 Worlds. Both events were a resounding success, each drawing around 340 competitors from around the globe.

During their discussion, Presidents Utassy and Treguilly underscored the importance of both the iQFOiL Youth & Junior and Techno293 classes in building a robust foundation for the sport of windsurfing. They acknowledged that the continued success and growth of these classes are vital for fostering young talent and ensuring a vibrant future for windsurfing.

To further this goal, the Presidents agreed on the necessity of avoiding scheduling conflicts between major events of the two classes. A new procedure was established wherein both Class Executive Committees will approve event dates only after consulting the championship schedules of the other class. This collaborative approach aims to maximize participation and support across both classes, providing young athletes with more opportunities to compete and excel.

This meeting marks a significant step forward in the cooperation between the Techno293 and iQFOiL Youth & Junior classes, demonstrating a shared commitment to the development and promotion of windsurfing at the youth and junior levels.
