The Ceri Williams award is awarded in recognition of those who, like the IWA iconic General Secretary, demonstrate that they are seeking excellence and stand at the service of the sport of windsurfing and the kids who love it.

It is awarded to those, who represent all the values of excellence pursued by IWA in its institutional activity, guaranteeing a high level of sporting, educational and didactic activity, growing the sport of windsurfing worldwide.

Marc Cardon has been with the sport from the times of IBSA. He is a IWA cofounder and has worked tirelessly for windsurfing classes for decades. He has been behind the success of the T293 Class from the very begin of the concept of the Class.
During the Techno293 AGM held in Cyprus 2022 Marc stepped down from Techno293 presidency, a presidency well served for which we all thank him.

There is nobody more worthy of the Ceri Williams award than Marc. Marc thank you.
