Here is how the top Youths commented on their starts today.
Fabien Pianazza FRA 312 Youth Boy
“Very good racing. I was very fast, I’ve got good speed both upwind and down.”
Tomer Vardimon ISR 926 Youth Boy
“The day was great, a bit hard because it was windy. I managed to get a 2nd, 1st and 3rd place and I’m very happy with my results. I feel great. We had a great fight with Fabien because we were so fast, we just kept fighting and fighting until the very end. We are now firmly in top with Fabien in 1st and 2nd overall no matter what happens in the last race tomorrow.”
Linoy Geva ISR 441 Youth Girl
“It was perfect today, I stayed first and I hope tomorrow that I’ll also be first.”
Faustine Manhes FRA 14 Youth Girl
“I was first in the last race of the day. It was cool but complicated because of my starts, but today was better.”
In the Junior Boy fleet Daniel Basik Tashtash from Israel has also secured his top spot, the girls however will have to battle it out tomorrow with Daniela Peleg from Israel and Mathilde Garandeau from France only three points apart before the final race.
Racing resumes tomorrow at 12:00 and the closing ceremony will take place at 18:00
