The Ora, typical North Garda wind, rose on time today on the race course, allowing two races to take place on the various courses set up by the Circolo Surf Torbole. [more]The 312 athletes have given life to a unique show, racing between Ponale (where the race course of the Under-17 was placed) and Torbole, where the Under 15’s raced.
As for the results, in the Under-17 division (boys raced divided into two groups), the first on the provisional ranking is Rrussian Maxim Tokarev, followed by Israeli Yonatan Tzachar and Dutchman Lars van Someren. First in the female ranking is the Israeli Shoval Ravitzky.
In the Under 15 female Giorgia Speciale (Stamura Ancora) gets off to a flying start, marking a first place after two races, followed by the Greek Natalia Arapoglou and by the Italian Alessandra Papitto (Lega Navale Ostia). In the male competition, after three races the leader of ranking is the Greek Leonidas Tsortanides, followed by English Joshua Carey and French Tom Arnoux.
In the Techno Plus division (athletes over 17 years), after two rounds, there is a French supremacy with Ann Claire Girard in the lead, followed by Olivier Tuhault and Julien Bouyer.
In Torbole the Techno 293 European Championship continues until Saturday, for a maximum of 12 races to be run to award the European title.
