Bic Sport will once again be providing equipment for charter at the 2013 World Championships, this year to be held in Sopot, Poland.
It is likely that demand will exceed supply – so please submit your application as soon as possible … in fact, NOW would be a good time![more]
Priority will be given to competitors & teams from outside Europe; those that have the furthest to travel and /or logistical difficulties; and sailors from developing nations.
Chartering equipment costs the same as in 2012; the difference this year is that 8.5 One Design sails and rigs are available for competitors entering the T293 Plus division.
The charter fee is 100 euro – for board only; or 150 for a complete set of equipment (board +sail & rig).
The deposit remains 150 euro per person. The deposit is refundable if ALL the equipment is returned, and it is returned in good condition.
You will be required to pay the charter fee in advance, as confirmation of equipment being allocated to you.
The deposit will be paid in cash (euro) when the equipment is distributed at the event venue; you will also be required to sign the Charter Agreement.
The schedule is:
until 30th April – submit applications
1st May – 31st May – charter is allocated and confirmation required by payment of charter fees
1st June – 20th June – any balance of equipment will be allocated to those on the waiting list
