. . . 2021 Techno293 Calendar Announced . . .

Techno293Plus heading to Oman for the World Sailing Youth Worlds
Posted On:  22/06/2021 11:35:20

The Techno293Plus is back for 2021 with a full calendar of events including the World Sailing Youth Worlds, which will be held in Al-Mussanah, Oman from 11 to 18 December 2021. Al-Mussanah is a venue we know and remember well as it was the host of the 2020 Techno293 & Techno293Plus Asian Championships back in February last year.

The WS Youth Worlds are a special event where each country will be represented by their best male and female athlete on the Techno293 Plus. The Notice of Race has been sent to MNAs and preliminary entries/equipment reservation is being made with World Sailing.

The Class is ready for the challenge and has prepared a full calendar of events for all those wishing to test themselves against the best. Most notably the class World Championships will take place in Bodrum, Turkey from the 10th to 15th of August 2021.

The Worlds will be followed by the European Championships in Tallinn later that month, and the Asian Championships in Oman in October. A South American Championship is also planned and to be announced soon. These events are not limited to just one per nation and will be a great way to prepare in fleets.

With a whole spectrum of continental events and the Worlds in Turkey we aim for everyone to be able to find the best suitable option for a great season of racing topped by the World Sailing Youth Worlds in December.
